Sally Rofe Sally Rofe

Sally has a combined Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law Degree.  She was admitted as a barrister and solicitor in the Supreme Court of Tasmania in 1995.  Sally joined the firm in 2007, having previously worked as a family law practitioner in both private practice and the Legal Aid Commission.

Sally practises exclusively in the Family Law area.  She regularly appears in the Family Court and Federal Magistrates Court.  A component of her work includes appointments as an Independent Children’s Lawyer.

Sally has previously been an active member of the Family Law Practitioners Association Tas. (vice president) and the Northern Domestic Violence Committee.  Sally is a current committee member of the Woman Lawyers Association (Tas.)

Alexandra Darcey Alexandra Darcey

Alex graduated from the University of Tasmania in July 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws, achieving honours in both components of her Degree. 
 
She commenced practice in Sydney in 2000 and was admitted to the New South Wales Bar in that year. She relocated to Hobart in 2002 and joined Wallace Wilkinson & Webster as an Associate in February 2006.  Alex specialises in all forms of Personal Injury Litigation, including Workers Compensation, Motor Vehicle Accidents as well as Public Liability, Product Liability and Medical Negligence.

Andrew Mead Andrew Mead

Experience:
Andrew Mead has a combined Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Tasmania. He was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Tasmania in September 1998.

Andrew specialises in family law and child protection prosecutions, where he appears as Counsel for Tasmanian child protection authorities. He appears regularly in the Magistrates’ Court (Children’s Division) and the Family Court of Australia.

Experience:
Letitia Fox holds a Bachelor of Laws degree obtained from the University of Tasmania. She was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Tasmanian in 2003. She is also admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor to the High Court of Australia.

Letitia specialises in criminal law and practises in both the Magistrates Court and the Supreme Court of Tasmania.

Letitia appears in court on a daily basis and conducts criminal hearings and trials, enters pleas in mitigation and conducts appeals. She is also experienced in domestic restraint orders and traffic matters.

Michael Valentine Michael Valentine

Michael graduated with a combined Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Tasmania in 2000.

He was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Tasmania in August 2001 and he is also admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor to the High Court of Australia.

Michael commenced practice in Hobart in 2002 and practices in both Commercial Law and Civil Litigation with a particular interest in Workers compensation.

Michael is an active member of the Hobart Rotary Club and in his spare time enjoys playing piano, following rugby union and motor sports.

Lucinda Veldman Lucinda Veldman

Lucinda Veldman received a Bachelor of Laws from James Cook University in 1997 and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the NSW College of Law in Sydney in 1999. She was admitted to the Supreme Courts of New South Wales and Queensland in 1999 working as a lawyer in general practice then exclusively in personal injury and workers compensation litigation.

In 2004 she relocated to Melbourne and was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria where she was involved in complex litigation in both the Supreme Courts of Victoria and New South Wales with the conduct of trials against the Commonwealth arising from the 1964 collision of the HMAS Melbourne and HMAS Voyager.

Since moving to Hobart she has worked for a publicly listed trustee company and in June 2009 joined our firm as an Associate.
